Kurt Reihmann
Chief Operating Officer
Kurt Reihmann serves as Chief Operating Officer of Wendler Inc., leading operational strategy across the company’s water and wastewater treatment, flood mitigation, high-voltage infrastructure, and heavy civil construction services.
He is responsible for aligning field execution, project management, equipment resources, and workforce development to ensure projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality.
Kurt’s leadership is grounded in firsthand construction experience. He began his career in the field and advanced through roles including Foreman, Superintendent, Project Manager, and Vice President of Operations. That progression gives him a practical understanding of the complexity behind the infrastructure Wendler delivers. He focuses on building systems and teams that can execute consistently, controlling quality on self-performed work while maintaining disciplined oversight of subcontracted scopes.
Over the past several years, Kurt has helped guide Wendler through significant growth, expanding both the size and expertise of the organization while maintaining the company’s standards for execution. He has played a key role in major infrastructure initiatives, including the Cedar Rapids Flood Control System, a multi-decade effort to protect the city from a 500-year flood event.
