Vice President, Project Management

Bud Maynard serves as Vice President of Project Management at Wendler, where he provides executive oversight for the company’s project management team and municipal infrastructure portfolio.    

Bud started his construction career more than 30 years ago as a laborer for a roofing company and ascended through various roles in the trades to his position today. He relies on that practical field experience to ensuresthat complex water, wastewater, and utility projects are delivered with disciplined schedule control, cost accountability, and high performance standards.  

Bud’s role centers on aligning people, resources, and processes to support successful outcomes from preconstruction through final completion. He plays a key role in resource allocation, schedule oversight, and cost management across Wendler’s municipal work. 

Known for steady leadership and clear communication, he works closely with project managers to maintain consistency across projects while reinforcing Wendler’s standards for quality and accountability. His experience spans critical public infrastructure efforts that directly impact communities, utilities, and public health systems throughout Iowa.  

In addition to his leadership at Wendler, Bud has served as Mayor of Vinton, Iowa, since 2018.
